Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The majority of her childhood was spent in Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. A passion for film within her daughter was a skill that was a gift from her mother, who also loved watching movies. Paula was involved in a variety of co-curricular events at school however she showed an interest in drama. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates as well as participating in the school's stage productions. After performing in a variety of high school productions at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her career. Through a program for summer in the University of Southern California, she was awe-inspiring there. She received a 3-month contract to create documentaries for PBS. After completing the project, she started becoming a production assistant for TV documentaries. In the following years, she transitioned to producing documentaries. While she was happy with her work but she always dreamed of being an actor. She started her acting career by playing a minor part in the film romantic comedy Hitch along with Will Smith. Since then, she has been in a variety of films and television shows.
