Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer, and singer. She's a beautiful, talented actress who has helped many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. A series of successful early performances in popular TV series led to her becoming popular for her role in the show of Ally McBeal, where she played Ling Woo. After her success, she landed significant part in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). The actress also gave a superb performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time, she was playing the lead role in a few films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters from animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen film, failed to bring about the positive results. A recurring role in the critically-acclaimed police drama series Southland helped re-establish herself as an established actress. Liu selects her roles with care in order to ensure she is not cast in an industry that is competitive. While she's very proud of her ethnicity however, she is not letting that limit her creativity.
